I loved it! I forgot what happened in the end, but a boy and his friend were goofing off in the library, and somebody cursed him as a pun-ishment. Get it? He is cursed to talk in puns! Plus, he cannot control what he says, and he never knows what pun will spill out of his mouth. This new found language of his is getting the boy into quite a lot of trouble. The boy needs to set things straight if he wants to get off pun-ishment, and to be able to talk normally again. I recommend this book for 2nd to 4th graders. I reads this for book club in 3rd grade.

Logan and his friend Benedict run into the wrong guy at the library–-literally. This was a book that a got for free at a school give-away contest. A lot of people assume that I only pick up one book....are you kidding me? I TAKE A WHOLE STACK! Buried in the middle was priceless, kid friendly Punished! by David Lubar. Sometimes my little brother comes to my room and asks me for Calvin and Hobbes books. The first thing I said this most recent time is, "You have to read Punished first...." and he took it and ran off. I didn't get it back for another two days! This book is short, sweet, hilarious, and full of learning. It's easy to get into this punny 5/5 book!
I've read it and I'm reading it again. It's easy, but it "punny" if you like jokes or puns. Totally recomenendded

Logan has to do 3 days of tasks, like finding oxymorons, palindromes and more. Punished is a short but sweet book.
