This book is about a young pig named wilbur and a spider named Charlotte.

My first book of the summer one of the classics loved it but the ending made me sad. Charlotte's web the movie was so much better.

Fern Arable, the main character, saves a young runt pig. She cares for him, and he grows up well. The pig, Wilbur, meets a spider named Charlotte. She saves him too by spinning the words "some pig" in her web. Wilbur lives in the barn with Charlotte, Templeton the rat, a goose, and many other animals.
