I read this book for the first time when I was in 3rd grade, about 4-5 years ago, and I absolutely loved it. Charlotte is compassionate, and a sweetheart, I pretty much bawled my eyes out when she died, and every time I read it. I would always read ahead with the novel we read in class. I moved to a different school for 4th grade, and we read it as a class, and I never raised my hand to predict, because I knew what would happen. I still cry now, even as a teen :) my favorite childhood book

It's a sweet book about a girl named Fern who is a sweet girl with a love for animals. One morning her father is about to kill a runt pig. But Fern stops him. She takeks care of Wilbur but eventually has to send him to his uncle's farm. Unfortunatly, her uncle decides to eat Wilbur for Thanksgiving! But with the help of a spider, Wilbur finds a way to escape from Thanksgiving dinner. But is it good enough?

Such a heart warming story. The whole story is super sweet. IF you don't read this you are missing out big time. Everything from charlotte to wilbur was so amazing.

Great read for those looking for strong character. Also, It displays a powerful relationship between two people. It gives kids a sense of hope and a great story to relate when loving something they deeply want to keep and not give away.

A classical that inspires friendship no matter how small or how big something may be. Charlotte the spider may have been small and tiny, but she was the best friend anybody could ever have. She saved Wilbur's life, and she risked her own life for his sake. But Charlotte left a gift for Wilbur: Her eggs. They themselves have the promise of a clever mind as well as a caring and loving heart just like their brilliant mother.
