And as streams of light fan out behind the darkened sun like the wings of a butterfly, I realize that I never saw real beauty until now.

At Moon Shadow, an isolated campground, thousands have gathered to catch a glimpse of a rare and extraordinary total eclipse of the sun. It's also were three lives are about to be changed forever:

Ally likes the simple things in life--labyrinths, star-gazing, and comet-hunting. Her home, the Moon Shadow campground, is a part of who she is, and she refuses to imagine it any other way.

Popular and gorgeous (everybody says so), Bree is a future homecoming queen for sure. Bree wears her beauty like a suit of armor. But what is she trying to hide?

Overweight and awkward, jack is used to spending a lot of time alone. But when opportunity knocks, he finds himself in situations he never would have imagined and making friends in the most unexpected situations.

Told from three distinct voices and perspectives, Wendy Mass weaves an intricate and compelling story about strangers coming together, unlikely friendships, and finding one's place in the universe.

Super cool book... Be careful w/ the switching narrators because it can get confusing... Definitely a good read. Best of Wendy Mass.

I really love this book I can actually feel what this author is trying to say it is like a puzzle Jack a person who is overweight , Ally a girl who lives in the wilderness , and Bree a beautiful girl but is trying to hide something

such a great book filled my heart 5 stars defiantly!!!!!!!!!!!

My really good friend read it, and it was my first Wendy Mass book. After I read it I read many more books by her.

I like this book because the character Bree is really like me. Besides the perfect hair! i have bad hair days, but i find something to do with it. Something fun! i am fun! everyone likes me but one girl! just like in the book!! :)

conceded much?

so far so good

This book is really amazing. You might think you're too cool to read it but no. Its really good. I really like how the 3 stories come together in the end. =)

I found this book inspiration. The main idea is change. All 3 kids have to learn how to adapt and accept change. Ally- a girl living on a campsite, Bree- a complete girly girl, and Jack- a lazy boy, come together to watch an eclipse, and make friends. When Bree and Ally realize they are switching places, they (and Jack) try to stop it.

This is a pretty good book. It's about 3 kids who cross paths in the middle of the book. One girl named Ally who likes simple things and doesn't care about how she looks. She lives on a camping sight, which she loves. Bree is a popular, gorgeous girl who's patents decide to take over the camping sight that Ally and her family are in charge of. Jack is an overweight guy who doesn't see something coming. This is told from 3 prospecttives. Hope u read it!

This is my favorite rebbeca caudill book from last year. I found this book truly enjoyable from every perspective it gives you. It allows you to learn what's going on from so many ways, I just wish there were more! I love this book, and you should read it!
