I think it's a good book because you can learn a lesson about eating lots of chocolate. If you eat a lot of chocolate as John, everything might turn into chocolate. My favorite part is when he went to the store to buy chocolate because when I was in mexico I always went to the store to buy chocolate. Trust me, it's a good book!

i like the book because if that happened to me i will know what to do wen i have a lesson and my favorite part was wen susan and john tried to get an apple from susan s party and i will tel other people or kids to read the book and i think that the book is funny way because there s parts of the book that are funny

I read it its about a boy wo likes chocolate and then everything that he pouts in is mouth turn to chocolate. And then her mom turn to chocolate and needed help to bring her back. And i also liked the book. and went to the man on canystore. and its a happy ending

I think that the book is scary because his mom turned into chocolate and everything he puts inside his mouth turned into chocolate. I will recommend this book to other people even if it's scary for me. the part that i like about the book was when he found the coin on the sidewalk. the part that i don't like about the book was when he did not listen to his mom and dad. Hint: Don't eat a lot of chocolate.

i think that the chocolate touch is so interesting because it has alot o detail and i like how john acts in the story because he learns to not disrespect his parents. And not spend his money on the candy at the candy store. So when John was being selfish that was another lesson for him because he was just thinking about him self all the time. And you can actully learn some thing about this storyit could teach you to not be selfish.and it could actually happend in real life.

I think NOT being selfish is a good lesson, I will try to remember that when eating candy and especially chocolate!

LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i like this book because it is funny. It makes me sometimes sad.And sometimes it is intertaning. and it is fun to read. and it is so sad sometimes and sometimes happy two

i like this book because they gave john a lesson; always listen to your parents. my favorite part was when john turn her mother into a big chocolate and then went with the store keeper that was my favorite part. I remember because I finish reading it just today a will recommend you to read it once you read a chapter you want to keep going! I read 3 chapters ahead in my school it was so interesting actually it was long because it had 12 chapters put in the end a was like what because i think there's a 2 book because at the end it only said "sold," that's what I think.

Always Listen to your parents...hmmm...I will remember that! Great comments!

I liked this book it was very awesome. it was very interesting when john found a silver coin with his his first letter of his name and his first letter of his last name . my favorite part of this book is when john's mother Mrs. Midas was turned into chocolate. i would recommend everyone read this book and when you read it you will love it like i do. this was a short book because it had very easy words in this book.

Great comments! I think I will read this book again!
