I love this book. My teacher read it to my class. The story is about this boy Rob and his emotions. The book talks about Rob's suitcase. His suitcase represents his emotions. This is where Sistine comes in. She is The person who makes Rob's suitcase open. At first Sistine hates Rob but when Rob tells her about the tiger they start to become friends.

this book is about a boy named rob who is bullied by these two boys. After his mother passed away all the days have been cloudy, then one day a new girl comes, her name is sisteene baily. Her parents were divorced and she said her father was coming to take her back from her mom. Rob finds a tiger and buscampt the owner ant the hotel he lives at , he makes rob feed the tiger he has kept locked up in a cage. Then sisteene makes rob open the cage since he has the keys. They let it go but as soon as it starts to run robs dad shoots it and it dies, after that he punches and kicks his dad and says he wish he died. Thats when his suitcase opened up and let all his emmotions out that is a summary about this fantastic book.

Tiger Rising is a great book you should get your hands on! Rob's mom just passed away and he is trying to get his mind off of it. At school Rob is also getting bullied. This new girl named Sistine Bailey is also getting bullied. Sistine doesn't run she just punches back. She looks like she is mean but she ends up Rob's friend. Behind the scenes Rob discovers this tiger locked up in a cage in the woods. Rob tells Sistine about the tiger And she is determined to get it out of it's cage. This guy named Beauchamp is the person who owns the tiger. Then he gives Rob the key to the cage. Should Rob let it go and possibly get killed in the wild because it's endangered or, should he let it live in it's cage?

The Tiger Rising is another terrific and suspenseful novel by Kate DiCamillo. It's about Rob, a boy who's mother just died. He's the 2 bully's victim. And all of his sadness is locked up. Then, he meets Sistine Bailey a girl how's hurt and very complicated. But she doesn't know she's going to get bullied too. But Sistine kicks and punches and fights back. Her parents just broke up. At first, I thought she was a brat and mean. But she just needs a friend. Rob and Sistine become friends but not in a "click." But slowly they become friends. Then, they meet a tiger that's locked up. But why? Who did it? A true story of friendship is learned in this excellent novel.

I had to read this book in school and I absolutely loved it!!! I almost started crying when the tiger died... :( i learned something frome this book,... don't judge a book by it's cover. i looked at the cover and said this will be boring but i was wrong.

I cried 500 times from this book. Thanks so much for writing this book Kate. Really Kate DiCamillo is such a good author. Read the other books that she wrote like: The Miraculas Journey of Edward Tulane, The Magicians Elephant, and Because of Winn Dixie.

i love this book so much since the boy and girl let go of the tiger it almost made me cry i love this book so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like how the boy and the girl set the tiger free from the land lord. That part made my teacher cry because we read it in class.

Great Book!
