Twelve-year-old underachiever Rob has better things to do than read. His parents give him lots of books but most of them just end up in the messy pile of junk he keeps locked in his closet that once doubled as a makeshift science laboratory. One day, Rob hears weird sounds coming from behind his closet door and discovers a funny little creature that seems to be a cross between two characters from books he's tried to ignore. He names him Wonkenstein.

Keeping track of "Wonk" is hard work. But with help from friends and a little off-the-wall magic, Rob and Wonkenstein's crazy adventures set the stage for great laughs . . . and Rob might even read some good books along the way.

i dont really like these types of books and i dont know why i read this. The whole plot to me was a little confusing but i get that this book isnt a realistic fiction book so random things can happen. But the humor of this book was okayish.

I loved this book! The drawings are incredible, and so is the story. It is an awesome, fun read for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate.

I like this book because it is really funny. It also reminds me of a movie called Little Monster. Little Monster is a funny movie like Wonkenstein.

I like reading books in the format of a diary such as "Dear Dumb Diary". This book is funny with great illustration. Oh, this is similar to the movie "Little Monster" which I really enjoyed watching.

Rob doesn't read much and his parents give him lots of books. So Rob just throws them into his closet. One day, Rob hears noises coming from his closet!! Rob finds a creature in his closet and he names him Wonkenstein! This is a great family book!

This book is great. It's about a boy who gets a lot of books from his parents, but he usually just piles them up in his closet. One day a little creature comes out from behind the closet that is a mix between 2 characters in his books. He names the little creature Wonkenstein. Keeping track of Wonk is not so easy, but a little of off the wall magic and friends' help, he manages to keep Wonkenstein controled, and even read a few books along the way...

I recommened this book because it's full of laughs and funny pages. The main character is really procupied because he has to return Wonkenstien to his world ,so the main character doesn't get in trouble. This is why I reccommend this book.

This book is pretty wierd because two creatures create one. I believe there where Willa Wonka and Frankstien. This book is really funny and wierd. I like the charcters in this book.
