This is a great book and is one of my favorites! There are 12 sixth grade kids who get chosen as winners from an essay contest to take a tour of the new town library. The old one became a mall parking lot. The new building used to be a bank but is now a high-tech library. The next day those kids find out that they will be locked in trying to escape but, they are not allowed to escape through the front doors or the fire escape. Some kids don't want to participate because they have better things to do. Others are caught cheating or are wrong and must exit the game. Who will be the winners? Find out by reading this book!

Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library is a book that personally enjoy reading because it has clues involved. It also has suspense and humor. So I really enjoy this book.

I love reading Mr. Lemoncello's books and about his library. I wish i had a library like his. his games are very interesting on how he makes them.

I personally love this book series because it has mystery and clues.

In this twist on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, multiple kids are invited to stay overnight at a new library, and are challenged to find clues to escape. However, the kids are not the only ones in the library.

THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!! Ever wonder what you can do at your library? Ever wonder if there is anything interesting? Mr. Lemocello's library has it all. One day at Kyle's school, there is a competition for one of the first twelve library card for Mr. Lemoncello's library. Also it is a lock in. Kyle and his friends win the pass. Now as you see Mr. Lemoncello is a game maker. He makes all sorts of games. Now the tricky part isn't getting in, it is getting out. Now there are certain rules to this game. The front and back exits are blocked. You cannot use the fire exit. You cannot do anything that will cause the doors to open. Kyle and Charles Chiltington make teams. They both race to exit the building. There is a series of clues such as riddles.. Towards the end, Charles gets disqualified. Kyle's team ends up winning. This was an awesome book. There were a lot of puzzles that the team had to try to solve. The library was very cool! The library had holograms, simulators, and floating device to get books that are high! I would recommend this book to anyone! It was an awesome book!

What happens when a billionaire game maker creates a public library? He challenges students to escape the library through a series of puzzles and riddles, like a game. Kyle Keeley loves board games and video games. After he is grounded and not allowed to play video games, he learns that there is a contest to get early access to the new public library built after the old one was destroyed 12 years ago. If victory is his, he plans to play video games his whole visit. He must write an essay, and 12 12 year olds will be chosen. He is chosen along with Miguel Fernandez, Akimi Hughes, Andrew Peckleman, Bridgette Wadge, Sierra Russell, Sean Keegan, Haley Daley, Rose Vermette, Kayla Corson, and Charles Chiltington. Once they enter, they eventually find out that this is no ordinary visit. In fact, this is a game to exit the library. This is a change of plans, and Kyle is determined to win. The winner will be famous and also recieve lots of money. Many contestants decide to team up, while some use others. There are many ways to become disqualified. Sometimes players get penalties for incorrectly solving a puzzle. THis book was amazing! Chris Grabenstein really knows how to keep you hooked to the plot and on the edge of the seat. Your heart is beating because you don’t know how the challenge will end. Will the character solve the puzzle, or get disqualified? The author also lets you know what every player is doing. They may have a piece of the puzzle that someone else needs. While reading this book, I was wondering why I did not pick this book up earlier. The puzzles and clues are complex, but not impossible. I enjoyed playing along. I cannot wait to read the sequel. THis is definitely a 5 star book. A great for grades 3 or 4 and above.

This was one interesting book filled with puzzles and games. Kyle, a competitor, in the competition has figure out a way to escape from the library in order to win. How will he escape? Read to find out.

I really liked this book! Mr. Lemoncello is so funny and mysterious. His library, just the same as himself. I loved this book. You should read it! I really recommend it to a library and book lovers, for I am one and I loved this book!

This book was a little bit boring. All the boys do is try to escape the library. But the boys are really brave so it's a little bit exciting too. I did like that it was in a library because I really like libraries. This is a good book for someone that like adventure books.
