On their own, pranksters Miles and Niles were pretty devious. Now that they’ve formed a pranking duo, they’re terrible! But their powers will be tested when their favorite nemesis, Principal Barkin, is replaced by his stern and cunning father, Former Principal Barkin. Now Miles and Niles will do just about anything to get their old antagonist back—including pranking alongside him.

Authors and friends Mac Barnett and Jory John “are in perfect comic harmony” (Publishers Weekly) in this series that celebrates inventiveness, friendship, and the power of teamwork—for good, or for terrible.

i love this book

One of my all-time favorite aspects of these books is their characters, and how they're so perfectly well thought out and executed. Oftentimes, I read books for their plot, not their characters, but the characters definitely shine in this book. Now, that's not to say that the plot wasn't good, I thought the premise of the book was amazing as well. Another element of the book that I absolutely love is the underlying theme of bonding with your friends. Yes, Niles and Miles may be pranksters, but they're also best friends who stick up for each other, even if their actions as friends are a bit debatable. The premise of the book is that The Terrible Two (a.k.a. Niles and Miles), have gotten too good at their pranks, and, in an effort to stop the pranks from getting out of hand, a former principal with detestable rules steps in. Niles and Miles realize just how easy they had it with their former principal, and go to extreme measures to get him back. The one part that I didn't enjoy through the book was that this premise seemed cliche at times. We've all seen this cliche before, and, while the book is well written, it still stands to that particular cliche. Overall though, I thought the book was an outstanding sequel, and I'm looking forward to more books in the series!

This book is an amazing sequel to the book The Terrible Two. I love this book so so so so so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book is about a group of two boys called the Terrible Two. They do pranks, and are total sucker ups at school so that they have no chance of being found out. They have it all good, doing pranks that are reacted to, and no one knowing that they did it. But then, a prank goes a bit too far, and Principal Barry Barten is fired! His no-nonsense father, former Principal Bertrand Barkin takes over as Principal. Whenever the Terrible two attempts at a prank, he doesn’t react, he pretends a prank didn’t happen. Will the terrible two be able to defeat Mr. Barkin, or will it be a prank-free year? I think that this book is for both boys and girls . This is an amazing realistic fiction book. I think the message in this book is to ‘’never give up’’. I hope you like it!!!!!!!!!!!

This boom was literally the BEST. Well, maybe not the best book in the world, but it still was a great 2nd book to the first Terrible 2. This book was very funny, like the part about how the principle got pansed, or my favorite: When they made the school smell like stinky chesse. This book was certainly not a dissapointment, and it was a great sequel. Very good book.
