"Looking For Alaska" was an amazing book! I selected this book because a friend suggested it and it's the type of book I can easily get really into. Looking For Alaska is about a guy named Miles who goes to a boarding school and meets the popular, Alaska Young. Miles and Alaska are definitely the trouble making type. They're always pulling pranks on the "Weekday Warriors". Along the lines of all their mischief, Miles falls in love with Alaska. My connection to the book is just having fun, being a kid! An exciting part was in the beginning when Miles was in a deep sleep when a few Weekday Warriors snuck into his room. They drug him out to the lake, taped him up, and threw him in! My favorite passage was “You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking how you'll escape one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present.” this was my favorite because it's so true for just about anyone. I would definitely recommend this book!
