It's just a day, the bad things that currently happen are most likely people being to anxious and afraid, thus causing their own accidents that get blamed on the date. If someone were to break their foot on that day, they would say it's because of Friday the 13th. When in reality they could have broken their foot on any other day. Its a legitimate fear just because of the things that have been recorded to happen on that day. I understand that that can freak people out, there's no need to call anybody a chicken about it. I agree that it is a bit off that things like that have happened on that day, but I don't think we need to make a gigantic deal about it. That's just my thoughts though.
