When I read this book as one of the tops in the N.Y times paper I instantly begged my mom to by it for although she didn't buy it for me she still borrowed it from the library! This story has a fantastic base and really intriguers you to read on it is one of the most wispy book I have read!!

I loved this book from start to end and I highly recommend to all kids who love stories about mythology. Roshani Chokshi is my favorite author now after reading this book and I cant wait for her upcoming book in 2019. Read through this book to learn more about the adventures of a 12 year old girl Aru and her sister Mini and the talking pigeon - Boo.
This is a wonderful book of mystery and suspense and I loved the characters Aru & Mini through their journey to save the world from end of time.
If I could give this book 6 stars, I would! It's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Aru Sha is very funny and smart. I like that she talks about Star Wars, Harry Potter, and superheroes. It's really funny that she wears Spiderman pjs throughout the whole book. I've always loved mythology, but didn't know anything about Hindu mythology. So it was really cool learning about a new area of mythology. This book was fast paced, fun, and also had me laughing out loud (during school, uh-o). I loved going on this adventure with Aru Shah. I can't wait to read book 2. If you like Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, or Keeper of the Lost Cities, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET THIS BOOK ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This book is super good! I love the style of writing the author uses. Like with Rick Riordan's books, it really brings to life mythology in a way that engages and entraps the reader in its pages. In the back of the book is an amazing glossary to the Hindu myths. The definition are in depth and informative, so keep reading after you finish the story. I can't wait to see what other books come out of the Rick Riordan Presents program!
It looks super interesting and its made by Rick Riordan. All of Rick Riordan's books are interesting, so I have A large expectation for this book and it will probably blow the expectations to smithereens

This was a fun, hilarious, and interesting book. When Aru Shah lights a cursed Diya on a dare, she awakens the fabled Sleeper who freezes time wherever he walks. She and her soul sister, Mini, must travel on a quest to the underworld to awaken the Celestial Weapons. To the otherworld to the underworld to the heavens, this epic literally covers all of earth and space.
