This book is interesting, but it moves too slowly and the characters are so hard to understand. It is the story of an adopted girl who loses her parents and has to find a new home. As I said, interesting, but not overly so.

Willow is a 12 year old genius and likes to count by 7's. When both her adoptive parents die in a car crash, she manages to push away her grief and the book ends in the best possible way for someone who's parents have died. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone.
(WARNING:I'll give spoilers)This is a very inspiring touching story about a genius child named Willow Chance. Willow's parents both die and Willow is sent home with her friend Mai. Mai's family was living in a garage so when they were going to be inspected they moved in to Willow's counseler, Dell Duke's apartment for the test.Mia's mom, Pattie decides that the will continue living in Dell's apartment until they find a permanent home for Willow. Willow lives in that apartment temporarily for about 3-4 months. in those months every one learns to bond better than ever. Mai's brother, Quang-ha who hated everything, especially Willow, learned to have a better attitude and came to like Willow. Dell formed good habits and got rid of his bad ones. Willow made every one she met love her. Her taxi driver Jairo starts to call her his Angel. Willow grows a fantabulolus garden at the apartments. then the happy group is told that a permanent home had been found for Willow. There were tears shed and an unusual amount of sadness once the new is delivered. willow then went to court to meet her new family. She is over joyed and surprised to find out that Jairo and Pattie will be permanently raising her as partners. this is a very touching story about friend ship, love and family. I definitely suggest reading this book.

This was a real good book. I LOVE it so much. i would recommend this book to a friend.I am glad that i have this book. This story was also beautiful about a 12 year old girl. She is a genius. Sadly her parents died in a car accident. This was a great book!!!!!!
When I read this book, I found it to be very inspiring. It is a really meaningful story about a girl who has trouble fitting in. To make matters worse, tragedy strikes in the worst possible way. <i>Counting by 7's</i> is a great reminder that there is always someone who is in a worse position than you.
This story cannot be explained by words! It teaches many life lesson and shows how your world could change in a split second. All in all, I think every kid should read this book and I guarantee you will enjoy it!
