This action-packed book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Hylas, a 12-year old goatherd has no idea why he and other 'outsiders' which includes his sister Issa are being chased down by 'crows' (ruthless warriors). While running the two get separated and thus begins the young boy's relentless search for his younger 'often annoying' kid sister. His quest to find his sister is a nerve-racking tale of twists and turns, involving a magical bronze dagger, a magical dolphin and a spoilt but smart princess. What is the secret behind the dagger? Is the Princes a friend or foe, Will the friendship between Hylas and the dolphin survive their vast differences? and most of all will he ever find his sister? These are the questions that will keep you glued to the book. An added bonus is the magical ancient world the young boy's journey takes us through.

Hylas Hylas

I love this book so so much, Hylas is my favorite hero ever, because i can relate to him so much. i love this book and i cannot wait for the second on to come out!

I love this book so much, one of my favorite books ever is the Percy Jackson series so when i heard that a new series was coming out that was just like it i was so excited. The book wasn't as good as i had hoped, but i loved how this book was based on the gods of a time period before the greek mythology, a time that not many people know much about.

I loved this book. Michelle Paver made yet another fantastic book. It was about this goatherd named Hylas and his sister Issi who are Outsiders. Outsider are people who weren't n the village and to make everyone remember the village cuts the earlobe as a mark. Hylas was totally normal until one day these group of black warriors (known as the Crows) come invade their camp and kill their dog. Hylas and Issi separate and run of in the opposite directions. Now Hylas is hiding from anything and everything. He takes you through the most unexpected twists and turns about finding your destiny. This book will leave you on the edge of your chair until hanging on until the very last word. I hope Michelle Paver writes more of books because they're amazing. EVERYONE SHOULD READ GODS AND WARRIORS!

i agree i love this book they should make a movie for this

Gods and Warriors is an exciting book. At first it was a little hard to keep track of the many characters in the story, but I figured it out. The story is so exciting and kept me going! Michelle Paver does a wonderful job describing the Bronze Age of Ancient Greece for the setting of the book. I was so glad to hear that this is the first of five books in the series. If you like a mix of history, action, fantasy and a great story line this is your book. Passing my copy on to friends right now!
